Obama Landslide?

I'm figuring Obama is now in landslide victory territory. For this Hubdub question, I used a fairly tough requirement for landslide victory: 2/3 or more of the 538 electoral college votes.

Tropical Storm Hanna is headed for the British Isles.

Huffington Post tie-in

This post coming to you from my Nokia N800 Internet Tablet, so we'll see how it goes. Well, a month gone by, and still finding the job challenging. Hubdub is now displaying its top 5 questions per topic in the Big News section of the Huffington Post. Of particular topical interest is the Sarah Palin section. It's down the page a little on the right side (of course) under Current Forecasts. If you want your own Hubdub Sarah Palin widget to display on your web page, you can get it here. You can also get the top 5 questions for any tag we use on the site at the same place.

If you grab one, it will display something like this:

Joined The Team

Well, after 6 months of playing the game like a maniac, I just got signed on as a Category Editor at Hubdub this month. So, yes, I am now working for the man! Actually his name is Nigel, and he's really very nice. But really I am working for the woman. Two women. They supervise me. Lesley and Tisha. I don't envy them that job ;-). I'm not necessarily supervisor-friendly all the time.

My blog here hasn't seen a whole lot of activity (yet). Hopefully I will soon start to actually discuss the things I intended to.

We are having some real success with our Olympics questions, which are gathered together on a "landing page" here. The page's submission at Digg was become "Popular", and has helped to bring more visitors to the site.

The category I'm managing is the World category. As the site, though led from Edinburgh in sunny Scotland, is primarily geared to US news, my category covers politics and events across the rest of the globe. Not challenging at all ;-).
